What this notice covers
This notice addresses electronic communications connected with cashpath.org and the CashPath website experience.
It does not replace a provider's separate consent, disclosures, or agreement.
If a participating provider requires electronic consent for legally required disclosures, signatures, account documents, or transaction communications, that provider may present its own E-Consent terms.
Those provider terms control the provider relationship.
Electronic communications
By choosing to interact with CashPath online, you understand that website information and certain CashPath communications may be presented electronically.
Electronic communications can include website notices, disclosures made on CashPath pages, privacy or terms information, and responses to messages you send to CashPath.
Where a specific law requires additional consent before a particular record may be delivered electronically, the applicable consent process must also be satisfied.
Electronic records
Information presented electronically may constitute a record that you may wish to keep.
You should be able to save, download, screenshot, or print important information when appropriate.
If you continue into a provider process, retain copies of the provider's disclosures and agreement for your records.
CashPath cannot reproduce a provider document that is controlled solely by that provider.
Electronic signatures
Electronic actions may have legal significance when applicable requirements are satisfied.
Clicking a button, checking a box, entering information, or otherwise taking an electronic action may be treated differently depending on what the specific provider or transaction states.
Do not assume that merely visiting CashPath creates a loan agreement.
Any provider agreement should clearly identify the action that constitutes acceptance.
What you need to access electronic information
To use CashPath and access electronic communications, you generally need an internet-capable computer, phone, or tablet; a reasonably current web browser; internet access; and the ability to view standard web pages.
You may also need access to an email account if communications are delivered by email.
To retain records, you should have the ability to save electronic files or print documents.
Provider requirements may differ and should be stated in the provider's own E-Consent or disclosures.
Keeping your contact information current
If a provider relies on your email address or other contact information for legally significant communications, keep that information current with the provider according to its instructions.
CashPath cannot update contact information in an independent provider's account merely because you email CashPath.
For CashPath website-related communications, you may contact contact@cashpath.org.
Paper copies
The availability and cost, if any, of a paper copy of a provider document is determined by the provider and applicable requirements.
Follow the instructions in the provider's own E-Consent or agreement when requesting a paper copy of provider records.
If you need a copy of a CashPath-controlled public page, you can generally print or save the page from your browser.
Withdrawing electronic consent
Where you have a legal or contractual right to withdraw consent to electronic records, the method and consequences of withdrawal may depend on the company and transaction involved.
A provider may explain whether withdrawal affects electronic communications, the ability to continue an online transaction, or another aspect of its relationship with you.
To withdraw or change consent concerning a provider transaction, follow that provider's instructions.
For a question concerning CashPath-controlled communications, contact contact@cashpath.org.
Provider E-Consent is separate
This is one of the most important distinctions on this page.
CashPath's E-Consent notice does not replace a separate E-Consent presented by a participating provider.
A provider may be subject to legal requirements that do not apply in the same way to CashPath's referral website.
Read the provider's consent carefully before agreeing.
