CASHPATH

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Privacy laws in some U.S. jurisdictions give consumers particular rights concerning personal information, which may include rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain uses described by law.

This page explains how to submit a privacy request concerning information controlled by CashPath.

The title of this page does not itself mean that CashPath has made a legal determination that every statutory definition of "sale" or "sharing" applies to its activities.

Your privacy choices

Available rights depend on where you live, the type of information involved, the organization controlling it, and the law that applies.

Where applicable, a consumer may be able to request access to certain personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of qualifying information, information about categories of processing or disclosure, or an opt-out from activities defined by applicable law as a sale or sharing.

Not every right applies in every situation.

How to submit a CashPath privacy request

Send your request to:

contact@cashpath.org

Describe the type of request you want CashPath to consider.

For your security, do not email a Social Security number, complete loan application, banking password, account credentials, or other sensitive application information.

We may ask for limited additional information if reasonably necessary to understand or verify the request.

Verification

Privacy laws may allow or require an organization to verify that a request concerns the correct person.

Any verification step should be proportionate to the information involved.

CashPath will not ask you to send an SSN merely to make an ordinary privacy request concerning the CashPath website.

If a request cannot reasonably be verified, the response may be limited as permitted by applicable law.

Authorized agents

Where applicable law allows an authorized agent to submit a privacy request for another person, CashPath may ask for information reasonably necessary to confirm the agent's authority and protect the consumer from an unauthorized request.

Requirements may vary according to the applicable law.

Information in the provider request flow

The CashPath short form is designed to pass supported request values into the LeadsGate/provider flow rather than persist those values in the CashPath application backend.

After information is controlled by LeadsGate, a participating provider, or another independent service, CashPath may not have the technical or legal ability to access, delete, correct, or opt out that information for you.

A privacy request concerning information held solely by a provider generally needs to be submitted directly to that provider.

Requests involving sale or sharing

Certain state privacy laws use legally defined terms such as "sell," "sale," "share," or "sharing."

Those definitions may not mean the same thing as the everyday meaning of selling a list of names for money.

If you believe a legally applicable opt-out right concerns CashPath, you may submit that request to contact@cashpath.org and identify the type of opt-out you are requesting.

CashPath will evaluate the request according to applicable law and the information and activities it controls.

Non-discrimination

Where applicable law provides this protection, CashPath will not unlawfully discriminate against a consumer solely for exercising an applicable privacy right.

This does not require CashPath or an independent provider to offer a financial product or change eligibility requirements.

Provider credit decisions remain the responsibility of the provider.

Provider-controlled information

A provider is an independent organization.

CashPath cannot promise to exercise privacy rights on your behalf against a separate company.

Use the provider's privacy notice or contact information to submit a request concerning information that company controls.

Other privacy information

Read the CashPath Privacy Policy for information about website operation, the short-form request flow, technical information, third parties, retention, and security.
